Texas, constituent state of the U.S. It became the 28th state of the union in 1845. Austin is the state capitol. Other big cities include Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. Everyone loves the Texas hill country especially when the bluebonnets bloom in spring. And "everybody's somebody in Luckenbach, TX".
