It is one of three that are part of the North Slope Recreation Area located northeast of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Owned and managed by the City of Colorado Springs, these scenic water supply reservoirs and the surrounding area offer numerous recreational opportunities including hiking, picnicking, non-motorized boating, and fishing.
