Description
This image was created with my photo of a mural and a painted boot in Wimberley, Texas. I initially removed the background above the mural and replaced it with a textured image. I then used Topaz Studio and Impression to give it a painterly look.
The Wimberley Mural is a special attraction in Wimberley, Texas. The owner of Hotel Flora and Fauna hired an area artist, Tony Sanservo, to paint the mural. It reflects the flora and fauna of the Texas Hill Country. A special clear coat process is used to seal the artwork annually. It is a must-see attraction when visiting the area. It is less than half-a-mile from Wimberley Square. This is just one small section of the mural.
The painted boot is part of the "Bootiful Wimberly" project. This project was started in 2014 as a way to highlight the arts in Wimberley and to enhance cultural tourism. There are 50 large sculptures of boots throughout the Wimberley area that are each painted by different artists. I do not know who the specific artist for this boot is.
