Description

This sunset photo was taken near the Walden on Lake Conroe Yacht Club. Lake Conroe is a 21,000-acre lake in Montgomery County, Texas. Even though it is named Lake Conroe, only a small portion of the lake is in Conroe, Texas. Most of the lake is in unincorporated Montgomery County. Being so close to a metropolitan area as large as Houston, the Lake Conroe area has experienced incredible growth and transformation over the last quarter century. Many of Lake Conroe's communities have superior golf courses and tennis facilities as well as the usual water amenities like marinas and boat launching.
