The Widow Maker Statue in the Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. It was a commissioned piece done by Barvo Walker. The sculpture depicts a runaway horse that is dragging a cowboy. When a cowboy's boots or spurs got stuck in the stirrup, it would sometimes drag the cowboy to death, thus making their wives widows.
