Description
Terlingua is an old mining town where the discovery of cinnabar, from which the metal mercury is extracted, in the mid-1880s brought miners to the area, and created a city of 2,000 people at one time. According to the 2010 census, the population was 58. It is now mostly a tourist attraction due to it's close proximity to Big Bend National Park.

A striking image, wonderful texture and detail, Judy, the colorful sky really makes this one stand out!
