Description
A majestic tree with sprawling branches stands prominently in a lush park setting, its leaves creating a dense canopy that provides shade on the grass below. The sunlight filters through the foliage, casting dappled light across the scene, enhancing the tranquil and serene atmosphere.
Quercus virginiana, also known as the southern live oak, is a normally evergreen oak tree native to the southeastern United States. Though many other species are loosely called live oak, the southern live oak is particularly iconic of the Old South. This oak tree was photographed in southern Louisiana.
